Ab out Skyscrapers~!

I saw a movie named in the air. It talks about a businessman always travels around the country by airplanes. He spends most of his life in the air. If we have many skyscrapers, we also are going to spend our lives in the air. I think it is great. Maybe skyscrapers have some problems that need us to solve. However, it is a good way to make us have a comfortable life. It is one key to easing suburban sprawl, save land and energy. And it is good for our environment, because we do not need to use transportation any more. So I think skyscrapers are good for us and also good for our society.

    good!I am agree with buiding skyscrapers is a good idea. I do not care the problems of skycrapers have, because I trust the morden thchnology can slove and improve the problems.

    I agree with you in all the points except one. Even with skyscrapers we'll need trasportation. Just instead of moving horizontally we are going to move vertically. We must consider the energy that escalators consume. It's very important.

    i saw the movie , and i didnt like the idea of not being stable in one place for a while.
    Skyscrapers easing suburban sprawl as you said , but it also force you to drive a long way if you want to see natural landscape of outstanding beauty.plus expansive rents and sometimes outrageaous prices of shops in some touristy areas

    Yeah, everything that you said is true. In fact, people build a lot of luxuxy houses in the top of skyscraper which are called pent-house. All of them costs approximately millions of dollars per house. However, the life nears the air is great and comfortable. You can have a lot of chances to see the city and beautiful landscapes :D

    For me, living in a skyscraper itself is not bad. Actually, it's more convenient than living in other places. However, a terrible traffic jam is the most annoying problem which is caused by building skyscrapers. I can say it because I live in a skyscraper in my country! :D
